Daytona has changed their table games to be much more player friendly. We are heading to Daytona tonight to play. LOSE 10 hands at Best Bet and lose at least $500. You’d think they believe they are as good as Vegas style casinos and they are not. Plus you get to buy your alcohol by the drink. So to play a hand on our favorite table games the ante and the bet cost a player $50 and you still have to beat the dealer unlike you do at Daytona or Seminole Hard Rock. My wife and I love playing cards and we’ve met a lot of really great people at Best Bet.īest Bet increased the Ante bet from $5 to $25 on High Card Flush and significantly increased the Ante on most other table games - literally overnight. I ended up walking out $49 up so it almost got an extra star just for that but I'm sure I'll end up giving that back in a future visit.īeen playing at Best Bet for over two years and my wife and I always looked forward to Friday night. I hope it grows, sees success and continues to be part of the Jacksonville market. I am planning on checking out one of the nights to see how it is but will be going back once a week now for daytime racing. Add some sound and it would make it even more relaxing( as ralaxing as it can be while gambling) Sitting in silence makes time drag by and seem like you have been sitting there longer than you have. They should play the sound from one of the tracks that have a race running at the time or at least some bad background music. The screens were set up nice and easy to follow each track. The layout was nice, staff was very polite and friendly. I can't speak for the table games but they had quite a few open, there didn't seem to be too many waiting but most people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I found it to be very clean, staff was friendly and it was much larger that I thought. Rude staff, questionable characters and an unsafe facility after dark. Ive been in the Jax area for 18 years and never considered going because of the reputation. It was my first time going yesterday for horse racing.
